Runway 6/24 at KISP will be closed overnight from midnight Thursday, August 13, until 5:00 AM Friday, August 14, for painting.
The closure is scheduled to begin after the last scheduled commercial arrival and end before the first scheduled commercial departure, to minimize the impact on commercial service. Appropriate NOTAMs will be published.
Rain date: If weather prevents the painting from going forward, the work will move to the night of August 14 into the morning of August 15, at the same times (midnight to 5:00 AM). Members will be notified if the rain date is needed.
Plan your late-night and early-morning departures and arrivals accordingly, and check NOTAMs before you fly.
