28E just got back from the paint shop and is looking incredible! On top of the new paint job, all the windows have been replaced as well. It should be available to fly again tonight (6/19) around 5pm.
The plane is in excellent shape. Please be careful when fueling so as not to scratch the paint with the ladder or refueling hose. Also, do not place anything on the cowl that could scratch the windshield. Let’s all take extra care and keep 28E looking new.
Warren will be ordering fueling mats for both planes that can be placed on the wing before refueling to protect the surfaces.
Here are some photos of 28E’s new look. We have a general meeting on Monday (6/22). This will be a great time to come out and see the finished product in person!
