2027 GACE Board Flying Club Elections

Election Day

Elections for the 2027 GACE Board will take place at the General meeting at 7:00PM on 11/23/2026. Only Monthly Members in Good Standing may vote.

If you cannot attend the meeting you mail the official ballot to the Election Chairman’s house (check your emails for address or contact him directly). Ballots must arrive by 11/23/2026 to be counted.

Nominations must be emailed to Mike by Midnight (EDT) 10/30/2026 so he can verify that only eligible voting members have voted.

Voting Process

Only votes cast on the official ballot will be counted. The ballot will be posted online once the nominations are finalized October 31st.

The votes will be counted by the Election Chairman and a member of the public not affiliated with the flying club.

The Year Ahead

In the present challenging economy, we are faced with several options: reducing the hourly rate, waiting to see what our 2027 expenses will be, and determining a safe and reasonable administrative path forward so that we continue to remain the only real “flying club” on Long Island.
